Is Obama the greatest gun salesman in America?

Saturday, February 25 2012 at 2:49am by wolfcry92 New Comments Thingy »

Gun manufacturers would likely not be the first to come to mind when considering industries who have benefited the most during President Obama’s first term, but a study from Ammo.net finds that firearm sales and concealed handgun permit applications are at all-time highs since the 2008 election.

Just to show a few statistics illustrating what those in the industry call ”the Obama effect:”

-Ruger’s firearm sales have gone from $117 million to $232 million, an increase of 98%
-Winchester’s sales of ammunition have gone from $431.7 million to $572 million, an increase of 33%
-Federal excise taxes collected on the sale of new firearms and ammunition has risen 48.3%
-January 2012 was the 20th straight month of increases in NICS background checks compared to the same month in the previous year
-December 2011 saw over 1.41 million NICS background checks run, the most ever for a single month
-The few states which regularly report concealed carry permit numbers have seen increases in active permit holders ranging from 46% to 161%

The correlation is astounding considering the day after his election the Gun Owners of America speculated that President-elect Obama “will be the most anti-Second Amendment president in the history of America.” The National Rifle Association (NRA) is actively working to defeat President Obama in the 2012 re-election, with NRA CEO Wayne LaPierre telling the 2012 Conservative Political Action Conference.

How will the EPA’s Latest Offensive Effect Nebraska?

Friday, November 11 2011 at 3:28am by wolfcry92 New Comments Thingy »

Forward to a Friend

Header
Dear Mike,Obama Administration regulators at the Environmental Protection Agency are at it again.

A new EPA ruling on air pollution controls will adversely impact Nebraska energy producers. Local energy producer MidAmerica recently spent $500 million to upgrade their facilities and reduce emissions, but even this is not enough. The new regulation gives very little time for producers to respond with further facility upgrades, guaranteeing higher energy costs for Nebraskans.

We need your help to stop government over-regulation that is hurting Nebraska families, preventing small-business growth, and crushing jobs.

Sign our petition here that will stop these types of government power-grabs.

Bottom line, these EPA regulations mean Nebraskans will be paying more for energy. OPPD has suggested a 3% increase to cover the new regulation, LES has proposed a nearly 2% increase, and other utilities are considering doing the same.

AFP-Nebraska is a strong advocate of the REINS Act, legislation in Congress sponsored by Sen. Rand Paul in the Senate and Rep. Geoff Davis in the House. The REINS Act, or the Regulations from the Executive In Need of Scrutiny Act, will transform government by reaffirming the role of the Congress as a check on the power of the Executive branch.

Click here to sign our petition in support of the REINS Act.

In short, the REINS Act requires Congress to approve all new government regulations that cause at least $100 million in economic impact.  This includes regulations like the EPA’s new ruling that will drastically raise rates for Nebraska energy consumers.

The REINS Act would eliminate czars, rein in the EPA, and ensure Obama respects the constitutional balance of power.

Will you join us in fighting expensive new government power-grabs?

Sign our petition in support of the REINS Act by clicking here. Supporting the REINS Act is the best way to stop out-of-control bureaucracy and protect Nebraska from bad regulations.

Sincerely,

Americans for Prosperity-Nebraska

Oath Keepers in Grand Island Nov.7th at 7:00pm

Saturday, November 5 2011 at 2:26am by wolfcry92 New Comments Thingy »

The founder of the Oath Keepers, Stewart Rhodes, will be speaking in Grand Island on Nov. 5, 7PM at the United Veterans Club, 1914 W. Capital. It will take place in the Victory Room, at the north end of the Club. There is no charge for this event. Mr. Rhodes will be in Nebraska primarily to speak at the “Over Regulated, Under the Radar” event in Lincoln on Sunday. This will be a great opportunity for us to hear from a national leader of an organization that is standing up for our Constitution and our Republic. Find out about Oath Keepers in Nebraska at: www.nebraskaoathkeepers.org.

Your help is VITAL!  Oath Keepers reaches out to those who have taken an oath “to support and defend the United States Constitution, against all enemies, foreign and domestic”. This includes currently serving members of the military, law enforcement personnel, as well as firefighters and our veterans. Oath Keepers seeks to provide information and support to current serving oath takers and stand behind them as they honor their oath. They have recently began ”Operation Sleeping Giant”  to reach out to veterans who recognize they have not been released from their oath.

Your help is VITAL! Contact those you know and invite them to come. I have attached a flyer you can print and pass out or post at your local VFW or American Legion post and anywhere else you can think of. Call those you know in the active duty military, National Guard, Police and Sheriff’s Departments, your local firefighters and especially the military veterans who are your family, your co-workers, and your friends. And, of course, invite patriotic Americans who are concerned about the misguided course our country is on.

Finally, the kickoff for the NU/Northwestern game is 2:30. So that will give us time to enjoy the Husker game (hopefully) and then hear about the Oath Keepers.

Hope to see you there, Mark McCaffery

    “HOW GLOBALISM AFFECTS HASTINGS, NEBRASKA”

    Monday, August 15 2011 at 2:08am by wolfcry92 New Comments Thingy »

    HOW  GLOBALISM  EFFECTS  HASTINGS,  NEBRASKA

As economic ’storm clouds’ continue to gather in America and around the world, what part of the STORM can be attributed to globalism?  That is our subject this Tuesday and for the next several weeks.
To put a direct ‘face’ on the issue, we will see how the multiculturisim, free trade, deriviatives market, central banks, exporting of American food and energy, open borders, exit of manufacturing, etc. impact you & I.

This series of presentations will definitely explain much of the chaos in our world and at home.  More importantly, it shared the opportunity for solutions.  The information is appropriate for all people, even elected leaders.

Our class is held at the old Middle School in Hastings, NE at 9 AM & 7 PM (5th & Hastings Ave.).  There is no charge for attending.  Please join us so you can be part of our country’s solution.  See you Tuesday.

    NIA’s Forecast Was Dead Accurate

    Wednesday, August 10 2011 at 2:50am by wolfcry92 New Comments Thingy »

The Dow Jones/Gold ratio finished today at 6.5. On January 4th with the Dow Jones/Gold ratio at 8.1, NIA predicted that it would decline in 2011 down to 6.5 and our forecast has proven to be dead accurate!

All year long NIA has been saying that although stocks are a hedge against inflation, gold is the world’s best hedge against inflation because it is real money. NIA has said on many occasions during the past year that stocks were overvalued nominally and especially in terms of gold. NIA predicted that a large decline in the Dow Jones would come this year, but we said that unlike the financial crisis of 2008/2009, gold would decouple from the stock market and rise while stock prices are falling.

The Dow Jones declined 634.76 yesterday to 10,809.85, while the price of gold rose $69.20 to $1,718 per ounce, leaving the Dow Jones/Gold ratio at 6.29, which was below our 2011 forecast. We said last night that with the Dow Jones/Gold ratio down to 6.29, the stock market was setting up for a huge bounce.

Today, the Dow Jones bounced 429.92 to 11,239.77 and the price of gold rose $26 to $1,744 per ounce! At one point earlier in the day, gold reached a new all time high of $1,782.50 per ounce!

It is amazing just how dead accurate NIA’s forecast was. Very few people were predicting that the Dow Jones would decline this year and almost everybody who predicted that the Dow Jones would decline, also predicted that the price of gold would decline with it. Not only is NIA one of the only organizations in the world to predict that the Dow Jones would decline with the price of gold rising, but we told you exactly where the Dow Jones/Gold ratio would end up. Our forecast was so accurate that we knew exactly when the Dow Jones became oversold and was ready to bounce!

From May 23rd until yesterday’s close, the Dow Jones declined 13%, oil declined 18%, gold rose 9%, silver rose 9%, and the average agricultural commodity was unchanged. However, on May 23rd, NIA released a free educational report on options trading and we suggested Moody’s (MCO) November 2011 $35 put options at $1.98. These put options finished yesterday at $7.80 for a gain of 294%!

To the best of our knowledge, no other asset suggested by any organization in the world gained more during this time frame of exactly 11 weeks than our MCO put option suggestion. That’s right, NIA discovered and suggested to you an option that gained 294% in just 11 weeks and this asset just about outperformed every other asset in existence. We challenge you to find anybody in the world who suggested a specific asset near the end of May that gained 294% or more in 11 weeks!

NIA is very pleased by how strong our latest stock suggestion Mega Precious Metals (TSX Venture: MGP) is looking. MGP finished today at $0.68 for a gain of 84% from our May 18th suggestion price of $0.37! The Dow Jones is down 10.5% from May 18th until now. The average gold stock is up 4% from May 18th until now. MGP has performed about 21 times better than the average gold stock during the past 12 weeks since we suggested it!

MGP traded as high as $0.74 several times throughout the trading day today. MGP’s Chairman Ewan Downie is President of Premier Gold Mines (TSX: PG), which three years ago was trading for $1 and had a market cap equal to MGP’s current market cap of $51.79 million. Three years later, PG is now trading for $6.05 with a $631.38 million market cap. MGP’s gold resource base is growing very rapidly, almost exactly like PG’s gold resource base did.

Since we suggested MGP to you, its total gold resource base has grown 47% to 1.82 million ounces. When we first suggested MGP to you, its gold resource base was all inferred. Not only has MGP’s gold resource base grown 47%, but 592,093 ounces of gold were upgraded to the measured and indicated categories!

From our experience, gold stocks see the largest increases in their market caps on a percentage basis around the time when their inferred resources are upgraded to the measured and indicated categories. Gold stocks usually see larger percentage gains around this time period than when their measured and indicated resources are upgraded to proven and probable reserves.

PG is currently being valued at $175 per ounce of gold in its resource base because 69% of its gold resource base is now measured and indicated compared to 31% being inferred. At this time, only 33% of MGP’s gold resource base is measured and indicated with 67% being inferred.

If you subtract MGP’s $7 million cash position from its market cap, MGP has an enterprise value of $44.79 million. With a total gold resource base of 1.82 million ounces, MGP’s gold resource base is being valued at only $24.60 per ounce, which is just 14% of PG’s valuation per ounce, and 1.4% the current price of gold per ounce.

In our opinion, MGP’s measured and indicated gold resource base deserves to be valued at $100 per ounce on a very conservative basis. On an extremely conservative basis, we believe MGP’s inferred resource base should be valued at $25 per ounce. With 592,093 measured and indicated ounces of gold, a $100 per ounce valuation would value them at $52.9 million. With 1.228 million inferred ounces of gold, a $25 per ounce valuation would value them at $30.7 million. Combined with MGP’s $7 million in cash, we believe MGP deserves to immediately be worth $90.6 million or $1.19 per share based on the most conservative valuations we can possibly justify.

MGP would need to immediately rise by 75% in order to reach this valuation, but we believe MGP is likely going to once again soon report major growth to its gold resource base with more major upgrades of gold ounces to the measured and indicated categories. In the 4Q of this year, MGP will once again be reporting their latest resource update for Monument Bay. It is possible that MGP will grow its Monument Bay gold resource base from 1.78 million ounces to 2.2 million ounces, with 300,000 ounces entering the measured and indicated categories. This would increase MGP’s total measured and indicated resource base to over 892,000 ounces of gold based on current levels and possibly as high as 1.192 million ounces of gold if MGP is successful next month at expanding its North Madsen measured and indicated gold resource base by 300,000 ounces of gold.

In the very short term, MGP is expected to next month release their resource update for North Madsen. NIA believes that MGP is likely going to report its first major gold resource from North Madsen. It is possible that MGP will grow its North Madsen resource base from approximately 40,000 ounces of gold to approximately 1 million ounces of gold, with 300,000 ounces of gold being added to the measured and indicated categories. If we are right, we could see MGP’s measured/indicated and total gold resource base increase next month by over 50%. If these projections come true, based on our conservative valuation estimates, MGP’s market cap would deserve to increase next month by $46.5 million to $137.1 million or $1.80 per share.

It is important to spread the word about NIA to as many people as possible, as quickly as possible, if you want America to survive hyperinflation. Please tell everybody you know to become members of NIA for free immediately at: http://inflation.us
